of the life, legacy and vision of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

This is the oldest public celebration of the life and ministry of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in DuPage county!

Keynote Speaker:

Rev. Dr. James Miller, Sr. Pastor of DuPage AME Church in Lisle, Illinois
Dr. Miller is also one of the co-founders of the DuPage MLK celebration. He is the son of the late Presiding Elder Roy L. Miller and the late Dr. Evelyn Davis Miller. He has pastored three churches and authored the book Go Build A Church: Spiritual Administration for Growth. For more information about Rev. Dr. Miller click here.

To bring the DuPage County community together to celebrate the life, legacy and words of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by remembering his leadership in social justice, his compassion and commitment to equality, his courage to do the right thing, and his respect for racial, cultural, ethnic and religious diversity and gender equality, so that all might be inspired to strive for the fulfillment of Dr. King’s dream.
